Classic Premium Keystone are cut are loaded with brain and fan coral fossilizations that are hundreds of thousands of years old.
It is very white and consistent in color from piece to piece and shade and tone. There are holes throughout this stone which brings an old-world charm and castle like characteristics to every application it is used in.
Made famous in South Florida in the 1950’s, this material has been and is still used, on some of the most luxurious homes, hotels and store fronts, for cladding, interior and exterior, architectural elements, driveways, patios, walkways, pool decks and more.
Being a true coral stone, it does not retain heat regardless of the sun exposure it endures and in its natural saw cut unfilled finish, is non slip when wet. If left unsealed after installation in an exterior environment, this material will “patina” over time and achieve the “Old Florida Castle Look”.
Installed and sealed properly with Dry Treat Sealers, it can be maintained and kept clean and white. A classic and still very popular material that has stood the test of time in today’s residential and commercial markets.
